Location: Franklin, TN Description: Our client is currently seeking Pharmacists in the Franklin, TN area
The positions are not designated as telecommute, however the current plan is to have pharmacists work from home due to COVID. They could be required to work in the office at some point depending on business needs.
Job Description:
Conduct comprehensive telephonic medication consultations that meet/exceed production & quality metrics.
Complete a comprehensive medication review of prescription and non-prescription medications with emphasis on patient assessment and counseling, safe and effective use of medications, identification of potential drug interactions, and other related activities.
Complete pharmacotherapy assessment of patients’ claims, past medical history, and disease states.
Assess patients for medication adherence barriers and develop a plan to maximize patients’ medication success through improving or maintaining adherence to medications.
Deliver high quality evidence-based therapeutic recommendations to providers.
Follow all policies and procedures related to job
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD
Current and unrestricted Pharmacist license in the state where you are applying to work
Strong knowledge of disease state management guidelines
Experience working independently within a cross functional team environment
Strong patient care and provider intervention experience
Commitment to professionalism and a dedicated desire to advance patient care
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
The work hours required will require flexibility to work rotating shifts between the hours of 8:00am and 8:00pm CST, Monday through Friday.
Extended hours and occasional weekends may be required as needed.
Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
Preferred Qualifications:
Bilingual preferred with preference given to Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese and Vietnamese
Additional Pharmacist License in good standing in Alabama, Kentucky, Oregon, Louisiana and Idaho.
PharmD 2+ years
Pharmacy work experience in retail / community pharmacy and / or PBM, but will consider new graduate experientials
Prior call center experience
ACPE MTM Specialist
Certified Geriatric Specialist
Board Certified Pharmacist
