Sales Director – Assembly Hall

The Food Hall Co. creates culinary and entertainment destinations which offer a platform for chefs, restauranteurs, mixologists, brewers, and entertainers to bring their craft to an engaged local community, all under one roof. The Food Hall Companys first property, Legacy Hall, opened its doors late 2017 in Plano, Texas.Set to open in Spring 2021, the multi-level Assembly Food Hall complements and rounds out the downtown Nashville experience. The over 100,000 square-foot project will be a central gathering place with over two dozen eateries and bars, two full-service restaurants, a rooftop live music venue and a fun, energetic vibe that will draw visitors from across the region.JOB SUMMARY:We are currently seeking a Sales Director to join the Assembly Food Hall team. This position is a key leadership role reporting to the General Manager. The Sales Director will lead all outbound and inbound sales for Assembly Food Hall. They will be responsible for developing the locations sales strategy, setting targets, implementing sales systems and processes, developing and nurturing customer relationships, and executing the sales strategy to meet and/or exceed annual revenue targets.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:* Develop the locations sales strategy* Set revenue targets for the location and key performance indicators* Meet with the leadership team to present sales results and assess location performance against sales targets* Evaluate the locations participation in the various sales channels and develop strong working relationships to proactively position and market the property* Implement sales strategies and monitor effectiveness* Keep a close eye on the sales activity of competitors and leverage best practices where appropriate* Implement a variety of new business initiatives to drive sales* Ensure the organization has an effective sales training program* Work with members of the finance team on sales targets and budgets* Negotiate agreements for contracts with customers* Implement an effective sales pipeline and lead tracking process* Ensure Triple Seat is being used effectively and provides a competitive advantage* Implement best practice in sales techniques throughout the department* Partner with marketing in the development of relevant sales toolsGENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES* Minimum 10+ years of experience working in a sales role with at least 5 years of that in a management role* Restaurant, Entertainment or Hospitality sales experience a plus* College degree preferred* Formal sales training would be an advantage, but not essential* Natural leader with an ability to inspire performance with sales teams* Strong commercial outlook and an entrepreneurial approach to business development* Proven track record of achieving sales growth and delivery of results to business plans* Teamwork, collaboration, and communication* Organization, planning, and process development* Adaptability, problem solving, critical and creative thinking* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Tripleseat
