Software Developer

Simplify Compliance

This is a Full-time position in Brentwood, TN posted June 6, 2021.

The Software Developer develops, implements, and supports enterprise level applications. The developer will be responsible for building scalable and high-performance web based solutions. The developer will work on all aspects of software development, including user interface development, object-oriented coding, unit and integration testing, troubleshoot software problems in test and production environments and resolve software bugs.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Work independently on high complexity designs & programs.

  • Program ASP.NET web applications using C# and .NET Framework.
  • Front-end development with JavaScript Libraries such as jQuery, Angular JS, ECMAScript and Typescript
  • Implementing continuous JS environments using Webpack and NPM
  • Develop application solutions using, .Net, C#, Visual Studio, Cascading Style Sheets/Branding, Master Pages, and Page Layouts.
  • Create and consume Web Services within ASP.NET applications.
  • Develop stored procedures, functions packages using T-SQL (SQL Server).
  • Collaborate with the project manager to identify future needs, develop strategy for overall scope, implementation of features for releases, implementation of requirements, and system documentation.
  • Provide technical expertise to identify, evaluate, and develop effective procedures and systems requirements that align with the business requirements.
  • Understand regulatory/health care business concepts and practices.

  • Demonstrate knowledge of web technologies outlined above
  • Ability to work independently and multi-task effectively
  • Demonstrate understanding of projects from the perspective of both client and business
  • Flexible and willing to accept a change in priorities as necessary
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Interaction with program managers, tech leads, co-developers and end-users and the ability to effectively communicate ideas and concepts both verbally and in written documents is critical
  • Recent experience with Agile (Scrum) project methodologies



To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.

  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience with a combination of the following technologies:
  • Microsoft Visual Studio 2008/2010/2012, ASP.Net 3.5/4.0, AJAX, C#,
  • Solid understanding of MVC and Web Forms
  • Design Patterns, OOPS
  • Microsoft SQL Server 2008/2010/2012,
  • GIT, TeamCity, JIRA, Confluence, AWS
