HR Trainer


This is a Full-time position in Murfreesboro, TN posted July 26, 2021.

#StrongerTogether Your Role & Responsibilities Supports the learning of employees from entry level to management level, including job specific training, soft skill training, and leadership development.

Conducts an annual training needs analysis to determine training needs for the facility.

Works with the management team to prioritize training needs and identify resources.

Performs all aspects of training program management, including collaborating with the various departments on program planning and design, identifying training resources, scheduling and associated communication, and assists with documenting and tracking training completion and effectiveness.

Has direct ownership for high visibility training, skilled trades training & salaried workforce training; will supervise individual who has direct responsibility for operator & quality training.

Will assist with some safety related training.

Partners with manufacturing to establish a process to ensure that producers have been qualified on a various work processes when hired or transferred to new jobs.

Establishes and implements Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for measuring the effectiveness of education and organizational development programs.

Creates, develops, and maintains reporting tools, exams, surveys, materials, and records to assess training programs.

Provides oversight to Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering when new equipment enters the plant to develop training check sheets for the new operation and helps ensure Producers are appropriately trained.

Initially will work with manufacturing to establish a process to ensure that producers have been qualified on a various work processes when hired or transferred to new jobs.

Once process is in place, will provide general oversight in this area.

Assists with TS16949 and ISO14001 on training related topics.

Other duties as assigned.

Your Skills & Strengths Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management/Organizational Development, Education, Training or related field from an accredited four-year college or university.

Certified Trainer or Certified Facilitator certificate is a plus.

4+ years of training experience in a manufacturing environment is required, including experience with skilled trades training and safety training (especially fork lift training).

Previous experience facilitating soft skills & leadership training is strongly preferred.

Demonstrated track record of creating annual training plans and developing & implementing impactful training modules is required.

Ability to handle projects with multiple work streams with proven success Strong initiative and the ability to work well in a team environment.

Ability to engage & influence at all levels in the organization is a must.

Previous experience with a Learning Management System (LMS) is preferred.

Prior supervisory experience is a plus.
