PLANT MANAGER

Search Enterprises, Inc.

This is a Full-time position in Memphis, TN posted September 14, 2021.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Plant Manager provides overall leadership of the Distillation plant.

Responsible for setting the vision for the plant; allows for the effective planning and execution of all activities; ensures overall sound operation of the facility.

Lead and exemplify a culture where safety is a core value and ensure safety accountability across the organization.

Manage and lead the central functions including distillation operations, scheduling, and maintenance/engineering including an expense budget.

Ensure establishment of company systems and procedures that support HSE&S, operations, HR and finance programs and goals.

Promote a plant culture that is responsive to the manufacturing environment and business needs through teamwork and personal responsibility of the processes.

Oversee talent management and employee development and promote constructive employee relations.

Be active and visible within the organization in order to improve and bridge the gap between the business strategy and the employees.

Lead and complete miscellaneous projects as necessary.

Job Requirements:

REQUIREMENTS:

Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.

Must have distillation experience.

Chemical industry plant experience in a PSM facility.

Manufacturing supervisory/managerial experience.

Proficient in leading the plant, providing direction, support, and development for manufacturing teams across the plant.

Strong PC skills including MS Office software; strong understanding of ERP systems, strong interpersonal and relationship building skills as well as facilitation experience; union experience.

Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, “high energy”, team-oriented environment.

Must demonstrate enthusiasm, a sense of urgency, attention to detail, commitment and follow-through while maintaining confidentiality and meeting deadlines.

Due to this being a 24/7/365 plant, the relentless nature of the role is not for the faint of heart.
